Today I am going to talk about Motorola’s recently launched
mobile phone Moto G5 Plus. Moto G5 Plus exclusively available on Flipkart @ Rs.16999
only. Moto G5 Plus is getting too much popularity as like previous G series
phones. Now the question is whether this phone is good enough to buy at this
price point. So let’s start Moto G5 Plus review.
MotoG5 Plus Hardware-So I am starting review of Moto G5 Plus with
its hardware. Moto G5 Plus is a premium looking phone which comes with metal
body. The Moto G5 Plus sports an aluminum finish, and this phone feels sturdy too.
This phone doesn’t look like its predecessors which is a good movement by Motorola.
New generation likes metal body more than poly-carbonate body. That is why every
mobile phone makers started making metal body phones.
Moto G5 Plus comes with 5.2 Inch
1080p IPS display and protection of corning gorilla glass 3rd. This
phone is has 4GB RAM and 32GB internal memory which is expandable up to 128GB. It
runs on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 625 octa-core processor clocked at 2 GHz.
This phone is having a decent 12MP primary
camera and 5MP front facing camera which gives you good quality of pictures.
This phone gives you brighter pictures due to bigger aperture value of f/1.7 in
primary camera and f/2.2 in front facing camera. Primary camera has support of
dual Led flash for clicking pictures in low light condition. Camera of this
phone is a big point of attraction.
Camera of this phone is focusing very
quickly while clicking pictures and making videos. Moto G5 Plus camera UI is
clean, best thing of its camera UI is Professional mode which is useful if you
like to click pictures with manual settings. Camera of this phone is capable to
record 4k videos at 30 frames per second.
Moto G5 Plus has a 3000 mAh
battery which can disappoint you as many of the mobile phone makers are giving you
more power at this budget, but believe me you will not feel out of juice till
night which is impressive. If you still not satisfied with its battery then
Turbo charging functionality will surely make you happy.
So In terms of hardware this
phone is quite impressive. I believe hardware of any phone is more important
than software and hardware of this phone will surely force you to buy this one.
Moto G5 Plus Software- Now let’s
talk about software of Moto G5 Plus. Moto G5 Plus is currently running on
Android Nougat 7.0. We all know Motorola’s android phones are popular for its
pure android experience, so if you like neat and clean user interface with pure
android experience you can opt this one.
Motorola always give android updates
on its phone, so you are surely going to get Android “O” update on this phone.
I personally like Motorola mobiles for its neat & clean user interface.
Moto G5 Plus supports VoLTE so
you can use Reliance Jio as well for using voice over LTE functionality.
My final verdict on this phone is
if you need a good camera phone in this price point with stock Android
experience from a reputed brand then this is surely made for you.
